Please find the program details, including schedule and fees, below.
________________
"My defensive subordinate started to trust me."
"My perspective on talent development changed; I used to only give instructions to my team."
These are just a few examples of the transformations experienced by over 1,500 local managers in ASEAN Japanese companies who have participated in our practical Management Development Program (MDP).
While our traditional MDP is an intensive 8–9 month program tailored for individual companies, we're excited to introduce the "Essential Edition." This condensed, online program is designed for individual participants, making it easier than ever to access our acclaimed management training.
We've distilled the most crucial management essences into eight focused sessions. This program is ideal for newly promoted managers and for developing local managers in small to medium-sized company sites.
The entire program is conducted in English.
As an HR professional in charge of training, do you find yourself resonating with any of these thoughts?
Ready to Empower Your Local Managers?
Enhance the management capabilities of your local and next-gen managers to drive localisation within your company.
This format requires participants to immediately apply what they've learned before the next session.
With this "continuous" approach, you'll start seeing results even while the course is still underway.
Imagine this:
"My once rebellious subordinate now listens."
"After changing how I give instructions, my team started thinking for themselves."
By experiencing these outcomes first-hand, you'll truly grasp the concepts, making them a lasting habit long after the training concludes.
Program Contents
*Each session includes assignments for participants to access challenges within their own team and/or develop an action plan to address them.
[Session1] Roles of Management
Explore a manager’s role and identify their own manager style. This session will emphasize how to effectively utilize team resources, using a combination of facilitator’s input and interactive group workshop.
[Session 2],【Session3] Task Management and HoRenSo
As a manager, it is essential to understand clearly what is happening within your team.
[Session3], [Session4] Human Resource Retention: Building Trust with Subordinates
When trust is lacking, the manager-subordinate relationship can become a simple ‘order-giver and order-taker’ dynamic.
This approach discourages independent thought, lowers performance and ultimately can lead to employee turnover.
These 2 sessions will cover essential managerial techniques for engaging with your team members.
[Session5] - [Session7] Human Resource Development: Develop Subordinates Through Delegation
Developing subordinates is a key part of a manager’s role that benefits both the manager themselves and the organization.
A common challenge for managers is the tendency to hold onto work rather than delegate.
These sessions will cover methods for developing subordinates by entrusting them with work.
This is a highly impactful session within our manager training, frequently drawing feedback from participants such as:
"My team members have learned their jobs and gained confidence," and "My team members now think for themselves."
[Session8] Review of the Training and Additional Case Studies
Participants will review the key concepts covered so far through discussions and will engage in practical case studies that also serve as a comprehensive recap.
[Training Report from WS Partners]
We will provide a report to the program organizer(s) covering your participant’s engagement and attitude, their actions and learnings.
(Typically, brief reports are sent in Japanese, or online meetings are held.)
